RecruitMalta are currently recruiting for a Compliance Officer to work for of the new wave of exciting online betting and gaming companies, with a strong track record of digital innovation. As a pure online business with a mobile first ethos that brings the excitement of sports betting, casino games, poker and bingo to a rapidly growing number of customers in the leisure betting and gaming market; they have sustained rapid growth over the last few years and are expanding further.

The company is part of an international group with different locations, so we’re seeking someone who’ll enjoy working with remote teams across multiple sites. What is the plan for the Compliance Officer role?

The Compliance Officer will be a crucial member of the Legal and Compliance Team which provides support to The Group. You will be assisting in implementing and redefining policies and procedures, ensuring a high level of compliance within multiple regulated jurisdictions, and ensuring The Group remains compliant with upcoming regulatory changes.

What will you do as a Compliance Officer?

Reviewing site content to ensure adherence with CAP advertising codes, ASA requirements, and general good marketing conduct.
Review, manage and resolve customer complaints from regulatory bodies and dispute resolution bodies.
Supporting the Employer to develop and implement compliance controls with regards to applicable internal and external rules, regulations, company policies and standards, as well as developing such policies and standards.
Provide effective compliance advice, support and internal training across the business on different aspects.
Suggesting improvements on sites, products, policies and procedures.
Providing reports to management on a regular basis to keep the company informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts.
Monitoring and reporting risks and compliance gaps with respect to internal and external regulations.

What do you know that makes you a great Compliance Officer?

• Previous experience of compliance for marketing ideally within Gaming.
• Good working knowledge of the Gambling Act 2005 and other gambling related procedures.
• A proficient understanding of UKGC regulations and Social Responsibility Codes.
• Impeccable written and spoken skills in English, strong IT skills.
• The ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
• A high level of personal initiative and motivation.

 

Salary circa 30k Euros and an excellent package.
